PRISONER

IMPORT

In 2020, humanity was faced with an extremely dangerous virus called covid 19. From the first moment scientists all over the world tried to find a medicine to be able to limit its spread until the vaccine was created. This virus affected a significant percentage of people who came from the so-called vulnerable groups, as well as the elderly. In these groups there was a high mortality rate. So it was decided around the world to do something dramatic so that the virus could be contained but at the same time the high risk groups as they were called later could be protected.

What had to be done was for the whole of humanity to go into universal confinement for a time. So gradually, one country after another made incarceration. The scientists from the very first moment tried for the best. Even now, a year later the virus still exists and mutates without succumbing. Humanity is trying to find vaccines capable of fighting covid-19. Everyone hopes that we can overcome this obstacle and return to normal conditions of movement and contact with our fellow human beings.

This contact is what is missing from many of our fellow human beings even today. There are people abandoned in their own homes and especially old people where they have not had contact with their own people for months.

Throughout this time, humanity has tried to continue living but with very difficult conditions due to the outbreak of the pandemic. Many things have changed in our daily life from the simplest to the most complex. A hug imagines something unreal from a loved one, a kiss scares the idea... Everything is impersonal, people walk the street in a hurry with ugly masks. Only the eyes stand out, they don't smile but even if they do, who can see it? We all hope that this changes as soon as possible.

This book was made from short stories of my own confinement, my own quarantine, being a vulnerable group due to respiratory and allergic asthma. Days of agony that passed slowly and torturously at times, but with a tone of optimism that we will eventually succeed and come out victorious. After all, this is the first thing every person should do by looking at and embracing their family. That's what I did too. The short stories you will read below were written during those first difficult hours. I want to dedicate this book to all of us who endured in our homes and did not give up even though things did not go as we expected, we found the mental strength to endure. I also want from the depths of my soul to dedicate it more to those who unjustly lost their loved ones and separated them in this way.

I wish the world would understand how important it is to show love not only in difficult situations and to our loved ones, but also to our fellow man because above all we are human and we can achieve everything if we want to.

We can eliminate every form of violence, every form of exploitation and help our fellow man in any way we can.

So in memory of those who were lost...
