WRITING CAREER

Anastasios Rodopoulos

   He was born in Thessaloniki in 1983 and grew up in Aridaia, Pella Prefecture. He is a graduate engineer in Anti-Pollution Technologies from the Technological Educational Institute of Western Macedonia, School of Technological Applications.

   He first started writing a book in 2008, where he completed his thesis on biomass as a renewable energy source.

   In 2016, he gave the public his first attempt at a detective novel after two years of writing entitled "Anonymous Deception". 

   In 2018, he felt the need to embrace children's souls with the children's fairy tale "Walking with a Giant".

   In July 2020, he participated in the collective publication entitled "THE STORIES OF IMPRISONMENT" by Aparsis Publications with his short story "The Purple Poppy".

   In 2021, he participated in the collective publication by Oceans Publications entitled "WE STAY HOME" with his award-winning short story "Prisoned in Our Own House" among more than 3000 short stories throughout Greece.

His texts are hosted in literary projects (Short stories of 121 words)

   The same year his theatrical monologue "Roziasmenie Psyche", won the 2nd prize in the 3rd Panhellenic Literary Competition for writing a theatrical One-Act - Monologue on the topic "The Bogos" organized by the Ionian Theater for the Ionian Reading Club of the Magnesia Minor Asia Union.

   In 2023 he published his first collection of award-winning short stories after the quarantine entitled '' ENCLOSURE ''

   At the end of the same year ( 2023 ) he participated in the Christmas anthology, ( volume 2 ) a collective work of children's fairy tales by Kefalos publications with his fairy tale "The Best Christmas of My Childhood"

   In 2024 he started the series of episodes of a police adventure podcast entitled 

"The Adventures of PAUL" via PATREON.

At the end of 2024 he was included in the encyclopedia

'' MODERN GREEK LITERATURE ''

   Many of his books have been translated into English. His passion and love for writing drives him to constantly create literary texts that will be published in the coming years.

   In his free time, he is involved in the production, editing and editing of videos, which he makes available on the internet through his channel called Greco TV.

   Είμαι ο Αναστάσιος Ροδόπουλος και γράφω ιστορίες που αγγίζουν την ψυχή. Άλλοτε ταξιδεύω με τους μικρούς αναγνώστες στον μαγικό κόσμο των δεινοσαύρων ή του Άγιου Βασίλη, κι άλλοτε βυθίζομαι σε κοινωνικά και αστυνομικά μυθιστορήματα που αναδεικνύουν τις σκιές της σύγχρονης ελληνικής πραγματικότητας.

Από μικρός λάτρευα τις λέξεις, τα βιβλία, τις αφηγήσεις. Η συγγραφή έγινε τρόπος έκφρασης, αντίστασης και ελπίδας. Μέσα από τα έργα μου, προσπαθώ να φωτίσω το συναίσθημα, την αγωνία, αλλά και την ομορφιά που κρύβει η ανθρώπινη εμπειρία.

I am Anastasios Rodopoulos and I write stories that touch the soul. Sometimes I travel with young readers to the magical world of dinosaurs or Santa Claus, and sometimes I immerse myself in social and detective novels that highlight the shadows of modern Greek reality.

Since I was a child, I loved words, books, and narratives. Writing became a way of expression, resistance, and hope. Through my works, I try to illuminate the emotion, the anguish, and the beauty that the human experience hides.

 « Οι περιπέτειες του PAUL »  μέσω του PATREON .

 Πολλά βιβλία του έχουν μεταφραστεί  στα αγγλικά . Το μεράκι και το πάθος του για την συγγραφή τον ωθεί να δημιουργεί συνεχώς λογοτεχνικά κείμενα τα οποία πρόκειται να κυκλοφορήσουν στα επόμενα χρόνια . 

  Τον ελεύθερο χρόνο του ασχολείται με την παραγωγή μοντάζ και επεξεργασίας βίντεο, τα οποία διαθέτει στο ίντερνετ μέσω του καναλιού του με την ονομασία Greco TV .
